Adding a New Injured Worker & Adding a New Claim

Overview

Depending on your team’s setup, Injured Workers can be added into Jarvis either individually by Claims Professionals, or in bulk through an automatic data feed. Please reach out to your supervisor or Jarvis Support to identify how your organization adds new injured workers and claims.

Adding New Injured Workers:

  • Injured Workers must be invited to Jarvis with an activation link to create their account. Once they activate their account, they can access Jarvis at any time through your organization’s website: <CompanyName>.jarvisrtw.com (note: this is the similar to the Claims Professional website but does not include the word “manager”). 

  • If an injured worker has not activated their account, there will be an alert banner on their Injured Worker Profile saying so.

Adding New Claims:

  • When a new claim is added, Injured Workers will receive a Jarvis notification and an automated welcome message from their Claims Team.


How To: Add a New Claim from the Add Injured Workers Tab

As a Claims Professional, there are two ways you can add new claims to an Injured Worker’s account - from the Add Injured Workers tab, or from the Add New claim button.

To add a new claim using the Add Injured Workers tab follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Add Injured Workers tab. 

  2. Use the search bar to determine if this Injured Worker already has an account in Jarvis. 

    • If they already already have an account, click on their name to fill in their contact and employee information. 

    • If they do not have an account yet, fill in their contact and employee information to create one. 

  3. Double check that they have either a mobile phone or email address on their account (note: they will need this to create or log into their account)

  4. Fill in Incident Details with the Claim information 

  5. Click Create

Note: In Add Injured Worker, use the How to Recommend Jarvis section for talking tips to introduce Jarvis.

How To: Add a New Claim from the Add New Claim Button

As a Claims Professional, there are two ways you can add new claims to an Injured Worker’s account - from the Add Injured Workers tab, or from the Add New claim button.

To add a new claim using the Add New claim button follow these steps:

  1. Go to My Injured Workers tab & use the search bar to find the Injured Worker. 

  2. Click the Injured Worker to access the Injured Worker’s Profile. 

  3. Click Add New

  4. Fill out the claim information. 

  5. Click Done.

How To: Send an Activation Link to New Injured Workers

To invite a new Injured Worker to Jarvis as a Claims Professional follow these steps:

  1. Check that the Injured Worker has been created, based on your organization’s process

    • Note: if you need to manually add an Injured Worker, see How To: Add New Claims

  2. Go to My Injured Workers tab or Add Injured Worker tab & use the search bar to find the Injured Worker.

  3. Click on the Injured Worker to access the Injured Worker’s Profile.

  4. Click Send Link or Resend Link

    • Note: re-send means they already received one
