Overview of Documents

Through Jarvis’ Documents feature, Claims Professionals can electronically share and review documents and Injured Workers can electronically fill out and sign documents. 

Feature Details: 

  • Jarvis stores many organization-specific workers’ compensation documents that can be sent to Injured Workers at any time. 

  • To save Claims Professionals time, Jarvis also automatically delivers specified documents to Injured Workers based on their claim criteria, such as jurisdiction, claim type, or claim status. 

  • When a Claims Professional sends a document to an Injured Worker, Jarvis will send a notification to the Injured Worker (if document notifications are turned on).  

  • When an Injured Worker updates or completes a document, Jarvis will send a notification to the Claims Professional (if document notifications are turned on).


How To: Turn on Document Notifications

  1. Click on Your Name in the top corner to access Settings.  

  2. Turn on Email notifications. 

  3. Turn on New Document Status notification to receive document notifications immediately.

    1. Alternatively, you can turn on Send me a daily digest to receive a daily update of new documents. 

Note: Document or daily digest notifications will send directly to your Outlook.

How To: View Claim Documents

  1. Go to My Injured Workers or Add Injured Worker tab & Use the Search bar to find the Injured Worker 

  2. Click on the Injured Worker to access the Injured Worker’s Profile 

  3. Click on the Claim Number to access the Claim Profile 

  4. Click on the Documents section 

Note: This will display all documents delivered for that claim.

Go to My Injured Workers or Add Injured Worker tab & Use the Search bar to find the Injured Worker Click on the Injured Worker to access the Injured Worker’s Profile

How To: Send a New Document

  1. Go to the Injured Worker’s Claim Documents section (see How To: View Claim Documents). 

  2. Click on Request Files

  3. Select the desired forms & click Request.

Note: The selected forms will immediately deliver to the injured worker.

Select the desired forms & click Request.


How To: Upload a Document or File

  1. Go to the Injured Worker’s Claim Documents section (see How To: View Claim documents

  2. Click on the Additional Files row.

  3. Click on Share a document, select the appropriate document from your computer files, and write a note to your Injured Worker with details regarding the form. 

  4. Click Send Note to send a message to the Injured Worker regarding the uploaded file.

Click on the Additional Files row.

Click on Share a document, select the appropriate document from your computer files, and write a note to your Injured Worker with details regarding the form.

How To: Review an Updated Document

  1. Go to the Injured Worker’s claim documents section (see How To: View Claim Documents

  2. View the document status on the right 

  3. Click on the Document row and click Review to open the completed document

Note: If there is another document you believe should be automatically delivered to injured workers, please notify your supervisor or use the Help & Feedback tab in Jarvis.
